Thank you for participating in our election for our AWCL Board of Directors!

Our ByLaws state that we have teachers, parents, and community member representatives on our board, with a teacher majority. This means our board consists of: 4 licensed teachers who are currently employed at the school, 2 parents of currently enrolled students, and 1 community member who does not work for the school and does not have children enrolled at the school.

This election form is open from 6am to 10pm on May 6th!

Eligible voters are: current board members, current staff members, and parents/guardians of currently enrolled students. If you fall into more than one of those categories (for example, I am a parent and staff member) you can only vote ONCE. 

If you are unable to complete the form, we have paper ballots at the front desk from 7:45am-4:30pm. You will need to leave the paper ballots in the drop box in the vestibule (mailbox is directly inside the main entrance door and you can drop a paper ballot right inside)

COMMUNITY REPRESENTATIVE:

Brianna Armstrong 

Brianna is a licensed teacher and worked at AWCL for 2 years. She currently works at a dental office but continues to be passionate about quality education in the Bemidji area. She has been a community representative on the AWCL board for almost 2 full school years and brings a background in quality education, connections to the community, and financial oversight after joining the finance committee. 

UPDATE TO 25-26 BOARD MEETING CALENDAR:

April meeting will be on APRIL 14 at 5:30 instead of APRIL 16 at 5:30pm
